Join us as we travel 45 minutes south where we search for one of nature’s most beautiful birds, the Scarlet Macaw, who migrate from the Chiquibul Forest Reserve for several months each year to feed on the fruit that grows in and around the Red Bank Village.

The magnificent Scarlet Macaws (Ara macao) have chosen the small Mayan Village of Red Bank in South Stann Creek as their seasonal feeding grounds, amounting for the largest concentration of Scarlet Macaws in Belize and Central America. A short walk to a beautiful river provides an ideal opportunity for a cooling swim before returning to the Lodge in time for lunch.
