Having it made on the list of “Surreal Places you won’t believe actually exist”, Belize proves once again that it is enriched with some extraordinary places that should be on your bucket list for travel in 2015.

So, why should you put this diminutive country, Belize on your bucket list for 2015?

The CARIBBEAN SEA:  located on the eastern side of our country Belize,enjoy multitudes of clear turquoise waters, engulfed with 100’s of multi-colored coral formations that form our Great Barrier Reef System. This reef system is the largest in the Western Hemisphere and the second largest in the world! Moreover, it is home to more than 500 species of marine life; and is adjacent to the world – renowned Blue Hole!


The LAND OF THE ANCIENT MAYAS:  Belize has hundreds of Mayan temples throughout the country where twelve of the many have been discovered, studied, and excavated with partial restorations. All of which are truly stupefying! These sites date from the Early Pre Classic Period (2500 B.C. – A.D. 300) to the Late Post Classic Period (A.D. 1200-1502)!


The JUNGLE: Belize has the most accessible dense jungle in the Western Hemisphere, where 80% of its rainforest still remains untouched. Belize’s unspoiled pristine forest gathers some of the most biologically rich ecosystems on earth and is home to diverse species of flora and fauna.


The PEOPLE: Belize is a kaleidoscope of cultures that includes Creole, Mestizo, Mayas, Garifuna, Mennonite, Chinese, East Indians as well as Americans and Europeans.  Belize’s cuisine borrows elements from the different cultures to create the famous rice and beans, where coconut milk, spices, beans and fried plantains add to its tropical flavor.
